Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Jennifer Garland of CCSD Preschool Centers!
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2025 Teacher of the Year each day! Ralph Bunche Center Pre-K teacher Jennifer Garland, a 24-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for CCSD Preschool Centers!
“Jennifer has an innate ability to adapt and meet the diverse needs of learners, and her tireless efforts to ensure that every student can thrive, are just a few of the qualities that set her apart as an exemplary educator,” Principal Debbie Ritter shared. “I can honestly say that there is never a minute where I walk into Jennifer’s class and she is not teaching new vocabulary, leading exploratory learning through a science experiment, building literacy skills through shared reading, sitting on the floor discovering new math concepts, or even doing a "wiggle, wiggle" dance with her students.”
